Digital Marketing Intern
The Digital Marketing Internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, and looking to gain professional experience with an Internet Marketing Agency. This is a paid internship and the intern should be willing to work 10- 10-20 hours per week. (SN can be flexible to meet your schedule) Whether or not the student receives college credit is up to their educational institutions. Straight North will support the student, where necessary, by providing confirmation of the internship, reviews, or other documentation.
The Digital Marketing Intern will provide technical, administrative, and digital marketing support to the SEO Team. The intern will assist in the day-to-day administration of SEO campaigns to attract inbound leads/traffic and generate e-commerce revenue for the agency’s clients. Responsibilities include maintaining an awareness of client Internet marketing activities, detail-oriented project management, and executing SEO strategy.
Responsibilities
- Shadow members of the Account Management, SEO Analyst, Account Coordinator teams to gain an understanding of the SEO industry and Straight North
- Assist with onboarding new SEO clients
- Assist in content outline creation for the writing team that align with the SEO strategy
- Assist with link building efforts
- Assist with projects as needed
- Conduct additional research for National SEO Campaigns
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- ·3.0 GPA or higher preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization
- Strong work ethic
- High competency level in reviewing and editing marketing content
