Leadership Development Program - Restaurant Business Consulting

Multiple Locations Available: Walnut Creek, CA; Long Beach, CA; Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Bethesda, MD; Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL; Stamford, CT (Location will be determined based on candidate preference and company need.)

-         Travel to restaurants to perform site visits and offer guidance to independent businessmen and women
-         Evaluate Customer Experience and Food Safety standards at assigned locations
-         Consult to restaurant owners and associates on potential areas of opportunity
-         Develop expertise in Restaurant Department Management systems and apply that expertise in guiding restaurant owners to make the best decisions for their restaurants
-         Evaluate root causes limiting franchisee restaurant operations
-         Manage your schedule to ensure on-time evaluations and efficient use of your time across multiple projects
-         Organize data, evaluations, and reports
-         Commit to using your scale for good
-         Build business acumen

Why You’ll Want This Job

After 4 weeks of interactive training at our new, state-of-the-art Headquarters in Chicago, IL, you’ll be deployed as an Operations Associate to one of our field offices where we will continue your hands-on training to become an expert in restaurant performance. You will travel for consultations with restaurant owners to evaluate and advise on restaurant operations, and you will offer guidance to help each multi-million dollar restaurant operate at peak efficiency levels to deliver top notch results. You’ll consult to several McDonald’s franchisees, whose restaurants deliver millions of dollars in total revenue, and you’ll have autonomy to determine your schedule to accomplish your assigned goals. Throughout your career, you will develop a holistic restaurant operations skillset across Restaurant Department Management systems through rotations and training and apply that knowledge to offer guidance to restaurant owners for improving their operations. Upon building that foundation, leaders will look to you for guidance as a Subject Matter Expert for specific assigned initiatives. 
Successful fulfillment of the Operations Associate role typically opens the door for your eligibility for promotion to the Franchise Business Partner position. In addition, the capabilities you will acquire set you up for a variety of career paths depending on your interests and strengths, so know that beginning your career in the McDonald’s Leadership Program is choosing to give yourself options.


How You’ll be Compensated

You’ll be lovin’ your compensation and benefits package, which will include:
-         Highly competitive starting salary rate of $65,000
