Routinely uses financial principles to solve simple to moderately complex business problems while performing forecasting, planning, and financial modeling related to income, profitability, liquidity, capital, leverage, asset and liability management or operating expense. The Financial Analyst III is the entry level position in the Financial Analyst Hierarchy.

Tasks:
Assists in the development of financial forecasts/plans for a business area or expense category; under direct supervision, supports forecasting/planning process and model improvement initiatives.
Supports preparation of recurring or ad hoc financial reports and analysis or cost benefit analysis to support internal and external management decision-making.
With supervision, conducts financial research for value-added business decision support.
Assists with product assignment, product pricing, product profitability and ad hoc analysis.
Under supervision, contributes to the preparation of informed, proactive analysis to enable effective decision-making and efficient resource utilization.
Acquires and applies foundational knowledge of the business, its products and processes.
Minimum Education:
Pursuing Bachelor's degree at an accredited university in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
 
Minimum Experience:
Up to 2 years of related experience and accountability for moderately complex tasks and/or projects required.
Foundational knowledge of data analysis and relevant technical accounting/finance acumen required.
Foundational level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.
