2019 Nestlé USA Finance and Accounting Internship Program

Food people love. Brands people trust. And a career that nourishes your future like no other.

*To be considered for this position, you must apply directly on our Nestle USA Careers Website at www.nestleusacareers.com. Click on University & Trainee Programs!*

If you're driven by the passion to do something meaningful that changes lives, Nestlé USA is the place for you. We're in 97% of American homes, and as the leading nutrition, health and wellness company, our goal is to continue to provide more nutritious foods, strengthen our local communities, and reduce our environmental and climate impact. Joining Nestlé means you can make an impact on an enormous scale.

Let's challenge the status quo and be better tomorrow than we are today. We need to grow as a company and bring an intensity to our work that puts our competitors on notice. We must work as one team under one Nestlé brand, leading innovation across the organization, and empowering our employees to succeed in the workplace and beyond. We’ll win — and we’ll do it the right way.

If you're a current (undergraduate/graduate student, or early in your career) and ready to take the next step toward pursuing your career, discover how Nestlé USA is transforming beyond confections and embracing our entrepreneurial culture & redefining our ways of winning. Are you ready to make your impact?

What to Expect:

Our 12 week paid Internship is more than a great way to get a feel for working at Nestlé, it also allows you to lead a significant business project from start to finish and get experience you won’t find in the classroom. You’ll have the opportunity to apply the analytical and business knowledge you have gained in school in a real world setting, while being supported by a team that includes a project manager, buddy, and mentor.

Our projects are challenging, engaging and represent current business challenges that need a fresh perspective. You will have the opportunity to showcase the work you have done on your project at an end-of-internship presentation to senior leaders in the Finance organization. The internship experience is further enhanced through social and professional networking opportunities which include interaction with senior management, collaborating with team members from across business units and functions, and interaction with interns and trainees from other programs. You will also attend valuable information sessions and have an opportunity to see inside our operations through activities such as touring a manufacturing facility, distribution center, or attending a ride-along with one of our truck drivers.

Interns experience life at Nestlé in a hands-on environment. We encourage students to question why we do things the way we do, provide fresh ideas, and improve processes. You’ll be part of the action and working from day 1.

Where You Will Work:

Because intern projects come from across the organization, all candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate for an internship opportunity anywhere in the USA. Specific locations will depend on where projects are. Work locations may include any of the following corporate and factory locations but not limited to: Anderson, IN. Arlington, VA. Bakersfield, CA. Burlington, WI. Danville, VA. Fort Wayne, IN. Freehold, NJ. Gaffney, SC. Jacksonville, IL. Jonesboro, AR. Laurel, MD. Little Chute, WI. Medford, WI. Modesto, CA. Mt. Sterling, KY. Oakland, CA. Solon, OH. Springville, UT. Tulare, CA. Waverly, IA.

After Your Internship:

Our intern program is designed to identify future leaders in Finance and Accounting at Nestlé USA and is intended to be a feeder into our full-time, 3 ½ year Rotational Program. Superstar summer interns will be offered the opportunity to join the Finance Trainee Development Program after graduation and start their full-time careers at Nestlé.

Our program offers 3 distinct rotations in factory and corporate roles in order to develop well-rounded future business leaders. You’ll experience and learn what Finance is like across different functions within Nestlé and develop a broad understanding of the business. Additional learning opportunities are available through guest rotations in Audit or Tax, an extensive training curriculum, and through the support of a peer advisor and mentor.
