IT Security Analyst

IT Security Analyst
Join an industry leader for this newly created position! AllSouth Federal Credit Union is searching for an IT Security Analyst to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its physical and information assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing system access controls and security solutions.
 
Primary Responsibilities: Install, administer, and maintain security software and solutions, including firewall security, data loss prevention, IPS/IDS, and other security products.
 
Secondary Responsibilities: Monitor the Credit Union’s enterprise network for security-related issues utilizing a SIEM, suggest remediation; oversee physical security controls, including security badges and camera systems; review security logs daily, and analyze, respond, and remediate security incidents or suspicious activity; and other duties as assigned.      
 
 
         Qualifications: 
  • Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; Security+ certification required; CCNA:Security and CySA+ certifications desired; ability to pass FBI Infragard program background check
  • Two (2) years of experience in hands-on IT Security; experience working with firewalls, SEIMs, IPS/IDS, TCP/IP, anti-virus, end point protection, DLP, Web Proxy, VPN, public key infrastructure, email filtering, and/or encryption solutions preferred
  • Attentive to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
