Internal Auditing Internship for Summer 2019

The intern will work 37.5 hours per week for approximately 12 weeks. We are flexible with students' schedules. The intern will report directly to Leigh Clement, Senior Internal Auditor.  He/she will be directly involved in conducting audits of our schools. The majority of the work will be performed in our office, which is located in Greer, SC. We may travel to a few schools throughout the summer, but the travel is minimal. The student will gain knowledge and skills of an internal audit department for a very large school district. Our goal is to familiarize the student with the ins and outs of an internal audit position. A lot of the work by the intern will require analytical skills, which are crucial in the accounting profession.
