Study Abroad Office GA for Marketing & Recruitment
The Graduate Assistant works with the Marketing & Recruitment Coordinator on a range of issues related to marketing and promotion of Study Abroad.
Fall 2019
- Manage U101 First-Year Experience programming (includes presenting to students as well as scheduling other staff to present, maintaining database of all U101 presentations scheduled for the SAO and communicating with U101 office, instructors and presenters.)
- Write press releases as needed
- Make updates to the SAO website
- Assist with other marketing and event planning needs as necessary (tabling, flyering, ordering print materials, conducting surveys, etc.)
- Advise students on appropriate study abroad programs
- Lead information sessions to introduce students to study abroad programs and next steps
- Conduct research and communication related to development/fundraising
Spring 2020
- Reach out to student affairs offices to help increase SAO information on their websites
- Write press releases as needed
- Make updates to the SAO website (training will be provided)
- Assist with other marketing and event planning needs as necessary (tabling, flyering, ordering print materials, conducting surveys, etc.)
- Advise students on appropriate study abroad programs
- Lead information sessions to introduce students to study abroad programs and next steps
- Conduct research and communication related to development/fundraising
