Lizard's Thicket is offering a Rotational Internship. During the course of your Internship you will learn how to work and operate all aspects of the restaurant business. The student will begin an intensive four week training on all aspects of Back of the House. This will include learning how to do all Prep work of food, learning how to cook all food, and learning how to serve and prepare all food for guests. After this four week training period is over the student will then transition to the Front of the House. During the front of the house training portion the student will learn how to be a Cashier, Server, and will then learn some aspects of Management.

This Internship can satisfy both requirements for both courses of the HRTM Internship program. The first Internship focuses on learning all aspects of the restaurant business. The second Internship focuses more on the Management side. During the second Internship, students will learn more about the management side of the business. They will learn all the positions of the restaurant as well as a deeper focus on what it takes to run a restaurant. Students will learn ordering, scheduling, and how to make management level decisions.
