Licensed OPT - SC

Therapist/Clinician to provide comprehensive clinical assessments and intake evaluations, as well as medically necessary outpatient therapy services to adults and children with mental health, developmental disabilities and/or other personal and family challenges so they may attain personal outcomes and lead full, meaningful lives they envision. Some evening or weekend availability is required, as needed.
 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :                                    
·         Provide high quality mental health assessment and treatment services to children, adults and families in the community and/or office setting.
·         Ensure compliance and to maintain standards of care stipulated by Access Family Services (AFS) policies and procedures, Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and other applicable regulations
·         Attend staff meetings and trainings as required and to regularly meet with his/her supervisor in accordance with AFS policies and to carry out supervisory directives to ensure quality and efficient practice
·         Perform all professional and administrative functions as required to provide appropriate services to clients including adequate, complete, and timely documentation of client record materials, billing, reports, etc.
·         Provides positive customer relations in dealing with consumers, families, physicians, fellow department employees, other agency departments, referral sources, oversight agencies, and others.
      
EDUCATION 
 Masters degree in human services or related field and must have an active license as a LISW-CP, LPC, or LMFT in South Carolina. 
 EXPERIENCE
 At least one year of experience in diagnosing and assessing consumers’ mental health status
Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. 
Candidates with current credentialing through the local Managed Care Organizations as a provider as well as credentialing through Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC and other commercial payers is highly desired, but may consider candidates that can obtain the required insurance credentialing.
