2020 Marketing In-House Agency Summer Intern
Chick-fil-A has established an In-House Agency within our Marketing Department to drive the creative strategy of our brand. This team fulfills a traditional marketing function that touches advertising, public relations, copywriting, traditional media, social media, creative, and marketing analytics. The In-House Agency Summer Intern must understand and appreciate the value of a brand. They will work with teams representing several facets including advertising, design, photography, analytics and much more. Their main focus will be in design, art direction, and photography under the In-House Agency.
While staying on-brand, this person should be able to assist the creative/production department and independently lead a design project.
- Create visual text and image concepts, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
- Help develop the overall layout and production design for all mediums, from ink on paper, to pixels on screen.
- Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects and often select the type, font, size, color, and line length of headlines, headings, and text.
- Decide how images and text work together in a specific layout.
- Collaborate closely with art directors and copywriters.
The In-House Agency Summer Intern will work closely with the best creative minds in the business, learning skills like creative design, production design and photography (both in-studio and on-location). In order to communicate the right message, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. Qualifications:
- Undergraduate junior majoring in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Communications, Advertising, Marketing Research, Brand Management, Public Relations, Photography, Art Direction, Design, Content Creation, Interactive Developmentor other related major
- GPA: 3.5, or equivalent
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
- Understanding of multimedia content development
- Creativity and originality

- Software basic knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign
