Production Supervisor
Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Production Supervisor at our Richburg, South Carolina float glass facility!
A Day in the Life Includes:
- Providing leadership and coaching for the safety of employees and visitors to our facility
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives on key plant goals and objectives
- Develop team members for improving individual and organization performance
- Lead performance objectives and corrective action processes for assigned crew
- Ensures through accountable leadership positive employee relations to maintain our plant’s union free status.
- Provides employee training, coaching and development
- Work with upstream and downstream processes (and people), to exceed customer expectations
What will you need?
- 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working in a fast pace, 24/7/365 manufacturing environment is a plus
- Demonstrated success in measuring and improving processes
- Demonstrated experience in leading positive employee/ team relations
- Willingness and ability to work a rotating shift schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with other departments and managers to work as a team
- Knowledgeable at maintaining accurate employee documentation and files
- Proficiency using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
