Marketing Operations Intern

The Marketing Operations (MOPs) team provides Public Relations (PR), Digital Strategy, Consumer Relationship Management (CRM) and Social Media Marketing for all development divisions. The MOPs team approaches integrated strategic planning and campaigns with the consumer in mind, with an eye of how best to position our brands and products to our various target audiences. The team operates within the Newell Accelerated Transformation Plan to be simpler, faster and stronger throughout all of our communications decisions and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities:
  • New Product and Innovation Press Releases and Coverage
  • Media Pitching and Desk Sides
  • Social Media Storytelling
  • Community Management
  • Digital Strategy and Long Form Content Development
  • CRM E-mail Strategy and Content Development
  • Integrated Analytics and Reporting
  • Agency Management

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and content development
  • Basic knowledge of PR, including writing press releases and media relations
  • Strong writer and editor
  • Familiarity with social media strategies and building communities
  • Basic problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Experience with design and content creation a plus, even if not professionally
