Business Development Director

Rubitection is a medical device startup company that is developing a diagnostic tool for early bedsore detection. We are currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. We are looking for a dedicated candidate that we can add to our team to help define and execute business strategy to grow the company quickly in the wound care space.
Business Development Manager Job Objective:
Builds market position by building relationships with strategic healthcare partners, completing market research to support go to market strategy, provide assistance with financial projections, business plan, and assist in defining, implementing and executing business development and marketing goals and strategy. There is a possibility of working remotely from the job site. Working hours are flexible. Full-time employment position.

Skills/Qualifications:
 A Master’s in Business Administration
 Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in in the role business development in the healthcare industry
 Good and professional oral and written communicator
 Self-driven, high energy level, and motivated
 Good time management and independent worker
 Experience with financial projections
 Experience with Microsoft office tools (excel, powerpoint, publisher)
 Some experience with sales and marketing (preferred but not required)
 Experience with dealing with long term care facilities
 Experience with dealing negotiations
 Works well on a team and flexible

E. Business Development Manager Job Duties:
 Contacting potential partners to initiate partnerships; discovering and exploring opportunities.
 Executing business strategy by connecting with partners, building relationships, and managing relationships
 Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements;
 Screens potential investment business deals by analyzing partner strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; examining risks and potentials;
 Assist with developing and refining investment pitch decks
 Market research to support business development
 Recruitment of clinical and corporate partners
 Conducting focus groups and collecting consumer and user feedback
 Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations; attending entrepreneurial and investment workshops that support the companies goal and development strategy
 Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
