Consumer Sales Coordinator

The Consumer Sales Coordinator position controls and tracks the Sales activities of multiple outside sales personnel for inbound and outbound equipment sales. This position works closely with Consumer Sales & Operations Manager and the Division Manager and across all Nixon teams with specific focus on customer satisfaction. The position reports to Consumer Sales & Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:
·        Receive incoming orders from sales personnel
·        Coordinate and verify inbound and outbound shipments for pickups, deliveries, and warehouse transfers
·        Assist warehouse personnel in staging of equipment for pickups and shipping
·        Once received proper paperwork, post, transfer, and invoice in data management system
·        Maintain organized physical and electronic files
·        Track inbound and outbound shipments of serialized and non-serialized inventory
·        Process and track internal and external purchase orders for projects (i.e. internal IWO to Nixon service department, turnkey, subcontractor)
·        Assist in maintaining proper and accurate inventory levels at multiple warehouses
·        File freight claims and follow up on payments of freight claims
·        Follow up to resolve issues on projects weekly
·        Monthly Sales Job Closing
·        Monthly Sales forecast
·        Travel: 20%


Education and experience:
4-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in entry level inside project management and project coordination.

Skills and abilities:
  • Customer service skills, Strong verbal and written communication, and team focus
  • Basic mathematical and accounting skills, including calculations with fractions, decimals, rate, ratio and percentages
  • Excellent Computer skills, Office 365, etc.





Physical demands*:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to:

·        Use hands/fingers handle, or feel
·        Reach with hands and arms
·        Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
·        Lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. (and occasionally up to 50lbs.)
·        Forklift certification available
·        Be exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions (extreme heat and cold)
