Information Technology Co-Op
Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Co-Op student for our IT department at our Fort Mill, SC location. The Co-Op will be a student who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the IT field. The Co-Op would start in May 2021 and work until the start of the fall semester. After attending school for the fall semester, the Co-Op would return to work at Schaeffler in January 2022 and continue alternating work/school until graduating.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems Management, Mathematics or related field
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Integration of IOT devices in manufacturing environment (tools, machines, products)
- Supply chain improvements using RFID and existing ERP/SAP systems integration
- Innovative solutions using AR/VR to enable digital workplace transformation
- Design and implementation of a new mobile applications (iOS)
- Programming skills using .NET Framework (C#) and/or Angular
