Scanning Technician
The applicant is expected to exceed customer expectations in all areas of document preparation and scanning – including but not limited to: effectively managing time and project tasks to meet deadlines; adhering to Seras’ cultural requirements related to professionalism, effective communication, and pro-activity; maintaining, in good working order all materials, tools, inventory, and other company property in his/her possession or use; remaining organized and efficient in completing, managing, and submitting all required paperwork and/or electronic documentation; and providing feedback and project-related communication to management and co-workers. Applicant understands the importance of honesty and integrity in all areas of the company: punctuality, clear and constant communication, and proactive competitive urgency in all aspects of the position.
Specific areas of “Scanning Technician” may include but are not limited to:
- Removing staples, clips, binders, and other items from paperwork
- Organizing paperwork before scanning to meet customer requirements
- Spotting and managing special circumstances such as pictures, poor images, and other abnormalities that require deviation from standard settings
- Efficiently operating and maintaining scanning equipment – cleaning, troubleshooting when necessary, and maintaining basic PC health through company policies
- Working on multiple, varying customer projects simultaneously while maintaining each in an efficient, organized manner
- Adhering to Seras’ strict guidelines for security, confidentiality, and quality control
- Completing opening and closing company procedures
- Position may require extended periods of sitting and/or standing
Work schedules are flexible and set in advance each month. Flexibility to meet your personal scheduling requirements is acceptable, but agreed-upon hours for a specific time frame, such as a week or a month, must be met. No prior experience necessary.
