Summer 2023 Construction Intern

Southern Industrial is looking for summer 2023 interns. We are looking for interns to fill multiple internship openings. The right intern will be working to obtain a Construction Management/ Construction Engineering or Human Resources; Business Administration degree.

Positions are available working out of our Raleigh, NC; Greensboro, NC; Wilmington, NC and Columbia, SC offices. We are also hiring for our sister company in Society Hill, SC. For the construction / field internships you must be willing to travel (sometimes out of state).

The SIC Intern Development Program seeks to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with current full time students and SIC by providing professional training and supervised practical experience. This program is designed to provide interns with exposure to industry safety requirements, field operations, office operations, and project management based on a 10-week schedule. Interns will be required to complete 400 hours during the 10 week period (40 hours per week) to complete the program.

We provide students with the highest level of construction education and experience possible.

Expose interns to all disciplines of industrial construction with the intent of bringing new professionals to the industry. Familiarize interns with management, communication, and operational functions performed within a construction project. Enable interns to develop specialized skill sets to enhance their value in the industrial construction industry.
