Camera Operator
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identifies and sets up the equipment needed for the production.
- Assist with the setup of production equipment for the studio, control room, or filming location.
- Operates cameras, video recorders, lights, microphones, and computer editing software.
- Performs routine maintenance on video equipment.
- Troubleshoots problems with equipment and resolves problems when able; notifies Video Production Manager of any problems that cannot be resolved.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with camera and production equipment.
Education and Experience:
- One year of experience as camera operator
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to carry production equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time.
