Camera Operator

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identifies and sets up the equipment needed for the production.
• Assist with the setup of production equipment for the studio, control room, or filming location.
• Operates cameras, video recorders, lights, microphones, and computer editing software.
• Performs routine maintenance on video equipment.
• Troubleshoots problems with equipment and resolves problems when able; notifies Video Production Manager of any problems that cannot be resolved.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with camera and production equipment.

Education and Experience:

• One year of experience as camera operator 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically able to carry production equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time.
