HR People Analytics Intern (Summer 2025) - Greenville, SC
Position Overview:
The Hubbell Summer Internship Program is a 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.
As a People Analytics (HR) Intern, you will master the analysis process from start to finish. This position will partner with key areas within HR for whom you will gather business requirements, extract and build the datasets, and present to them the discovered insights. In addition to that, you will develop your technical skills in excel, Power BI, and Databricks. As the world of People Analytics is constantly evolving, you may also perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which will help you build a strong network within the Hubbell community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze workforce data
- Process automation
- Write & run reports in our Headcount Management Software (HRIS) SuccessFactors
- Design & build analysis & dashboards in Power Bi/Excel
- Understand the data flow process & work with Python in Databricks
- Participate in the data management process
- Work closely with key internal clients to proactively support them
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related function required
- Ability to relocate yearly over a 3-year period - relocation assistance provided by Hubbell
- Must have a strong motivation and desire to grow as a leader
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Various systems and skills could be required/preferred for various functions
- Experience in the creation of PowerPoint presentations
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven time management skills: ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills and can track and interpret data
- Creative, adaptable, entrepreneurial and driven by integrity
