That parents and students were the first face they got to see when inquiring about our apartments. I had the opportunity to take people on property tours and get to know them on a personal basis and persuade them to choose our property to stay at during their college experience.
What I wish was different
I was we had the opportunity to do more outbound marketing.

What I liked
It made me much more prepared to lease and to know what to do to best advocate for myself within the housing/leasing market
What I wish was different
I believe the pay was pretty minimal for the amount of work done and the company had a lot of expectations for their employees with minimal guidance on how to achieve these goals
Management often didn’t adhere to policy which made leasing far more difficult
Advice
I would suggest anyone given the opportunity to take a job involved with leasing as it’s a very important thing throughout life that student will need to be educated on
